Acne skin is one of the major problems – not only among teenagers, but also among adults; both men and women. Conditioning of skin prone to acne is problematic. You should remember about few basic rules, so the effects of this treatment were visible.

#1 CLEANSE

There are many methods of cleanse of skin with acne, but the most important is to stick to few simple rules. Choose preparations with addition of acids (e.g. salicylic, lactic, glycolic) in concentration not larger than 2%. Try products with herbal extracts, the more natural ingredients the better. Do not use preparations with exfoliating grains, because they usually spread bacteria and cause inflammations. Wash your face no more than twice a day to avoid irritation.

#2 EXFOLIATION

Contrary to appearances, often exfoliation isn’t beneficial, though many people believe differently. If you have skin prone to acne then limit exfoliation to once a week, it will provide proper exfoliation without skin irritation. Use only fine peeling or acid peeling, because those coarse peelings can be too rough and lead to skin irritation, spread bacteria all over the face and make whole problem even worse.

#3 MOISTURE

Extremely important to acne skin is moisture, but it needs to be adjusted to the skin. Contrary to what it used to be believed, heavy, oily and clogging creams are not a good choice. Those most definitely won’t work for acne skin. Choose light creams, which absorb fast, optionally with addition of mattifying substances, best will be those dedicated for acne skin. If you don’t like creams, then try gel with hyaluronic acid.

#4 NOURISHMENT

Equally important as moisture of acne skin is its nourishment. It may seem like many substances on face isn’t such a great idea for acne skin – wrong. Good nourishing face mask is much better than cream. Choose face masks with clay or essential waters, put aside face masks with argan oil or coconut oil. Apply mask only on places, which need that, i.e. where appears oily skin (e.g. forehead, nose, chin), avoid additional drying of already dry areas.
