Despite many disagreements, women all around the world agree on one thing – there is nothing more frustrating than damaged manicure. And it is about destroying this perfect layer of nail polish right before going out for a party or another important event. Because of this, our evening stylization is not complete as our mojo is lost. How to fix broken manicure?
It is easier to manage chipped manicure once our nails are painted nude. Imperfections are not so obvious, at least if you did not coat your fingernails with blood red or pitch dark nail polish. No matter if you are wearing transparent or vivid green manicure, the awareness of having damaged fingernails might ruin good fun. With this in mind, go ahead and try out at least one of the ticks on how to fix broken manicure.
Obviously, prevention is better than cure. If you really need durable manicure, which will not fail you at any degree, then have acryl or hybrid manicure done, or just follow the basic rules of fingernail painting. For example, if you would like to fix the coats of nail polish, do not use a transparent nail polish instead of a top coat. All layers of the colour cosmetic will simply brittle. Degrease nail plate, apply base coat, put on nail polish and fix all with top coat. Let manicure dry out on its own and get harder with time.
If you still notice that a fingernail’s look is destroyed by an unattractive chip or simply has worn off at the edge, then your problem can be considered as minor. In this case, you can simply file the tips of your nails. This will do. On the other hand, if filing did not produce looked-for effects, you can coat the entire fingernail plate with additional coat of a nail polish. However, remember to do not apply too much of the nail polish. Stick to the thin, really delicate layer of the fixing coat.
When it comes to the irregular chips, for example somewhere in the middle of a nail, the issue becomes a little bit more complicated. Quick fix, in this case, is covering the very spots with the same nail polish as used for the manicure. For some women this kind of fast solution will be satisfactory, although for others the effect obtained might be far from being tolerable. In this case, try to draw attention from the chip by adding a little bit of shine to your fingernails. Coat all the nails, or just the one with the flaw on, with a glitter nail polish or holographic film. Thanks to this technique, you will not only hide the unattractive chip but also gift your nails with original look.
