Valentine’s Day is upon us, so here comes the time to find the perfect make-up for this special occasion. Today, I will present to you my ideas on perfect skin, romantic look and sexy make-up, without making it too provocative. I’d like to share my clever and effective tricks with all of you, which I personally use. I just know you will look stunning.

#1 Come out of your comfort zone

Do you want to charm your other half? Or maybe you just need to feel special that day for yourself only? Not your motives are important here but the result. I’d like to offer you a way out of your trusted schemes and to quit the idea of work and every day make-up. Put on some red lipstick, sexy eyeliner or go for smoky eye. Decide yourself which element will give you this hot Valentine’s factor and makes you feel femininely and beautiful.

#2 Don’t force it

What I’m about to say is an absolute opposite to what I said before, because, if red lips or intensely drawn eyeline don’t go with your character you will just feel bad in it. If you cannot execute it well (and remember that sloppy make-up can just make things worse) then skip this stage. It is better you look great in a subtle make-up and feel good about the way you look then torture yourself all evening with a make-up you didn’t even want in the first place.

#3 Practice your Valentine’s make-up

If you are preparing for Valentine’s night out in a restaurant or a party it is even more important not to commit any make-up mistakes. Nobody needs an additional stress before grand date in the guise of crooked line on your eye or smudges of bronzer all over your face. All you have to do is dedicate one evening before Valentine’s Day to practice the make-up you are planning on wearing that special day. Better safe than sorry!

#4 Remember about highlighting your skin

On Valentine’s Day you just have to look stunning. Don’t forget then about a proper make-up of your whole face and not just eyes and lips. If it’s even a possibility switch your regular foundation on some light BB cream. Furthermore, use loose mineral powder to matt the skin to avoid unnecessary shining in the evening light. Highlight those parts of your face which emphasize what’s best in them and which will make you look younger. Don’t forget about some concealer under your eyes!

Applying those few rules and remembering about make-up to be as well made as it’s possible (don’t oversleep or you will have to hurry) the final result should make anyone fell on their knees.

Good luck!
